센디에고 카운티 북쪽에는, 고급 골프, 테니스, 스파 리조트, 먹거리, 쇼핑으로 유명한 라호야 (La Jolla)와 델마 (Del Mar) 리조트 커뮤니티가 있으며, 또한, 유서깊은 낭만적인 호텔 델 코로나도 (Hotel Del Coronado)가 있는 코로나도 (Coronado), 카브리요 국립 기념관 (Cabrillo National Monument)이 있는, 1542년 포르투갈의 탐험가 로드리게스 카브리요 (Cabrillo)가 백인으로서는 처음으로 상륙한 역사적인 장소인 포인트 로마 (Point Loma)가 있습니다.
스파 커뮤니티인 칼스베드 (Carlsbad)에는 미국 최초의 레고랜드 (LEGOLAND)가 위치하며 도심과 해안을 벗어나서는 거친 산악타운으로 1869년에 주요 금광이었던 줄리안 (Julian)이 있고 사막과 험한 산맥보호지로 하이킹과 캠핑의 이상적인 곳인 안자보레고 주립 사막공원 (Anza-Borrego Desert State Park)이 있습니다.
